Piling Wrap 60" wide x .06" thick (150' Roll)

Piling Wrap helps protect your piling from destructive marine borers. Our piling wrap is black in color and is a UV stabilized high density polyethylene material. We offer our standard .030" thickness in 36", 48", and 60" widths, and our heavier 0.060" thickness in 48" and 60" widths.

In deeper waters, or on applications where you need to wrap more than 60" of the piling, you may want to consider using our 36" or 48" wide wrap as an option. You can install the 36" or 48" wide wrap vertically at any length you desire.

We recommend installing the wrap using 1-1/4" to 1-1/2" stainless steel ring-shank roofing nails. Type 316 stainless nails are preferable for saltwater environments. For best results, nails should be installed every 1-1/2" to 2" along the seams. Spacing the nails further apart will allow barnacles to attach and grow between the nails under the seam. Over time, the barnacles will grow and cause the piling wrap to break free of the nails and come unwrapped.

Installation Tip: Many of our customers have found that 48" long cable ties do a great job of temporarily holding the piling wrap in place for nailing. In addition to purchasing the 1-1/4" or 1-1/2" stainless steel ring-shank roofing nails, we highly recommend purchasing 3-4 cable ties per piling to make your project easier and speed up your installation.
